Products
Grades are largely determined by knots from branches and proportion of heartwood.
Grade Names are determined accordingly:
- CH– clear grades and heartwood
- CS – clear grades and sapwood
- KH – small live knots and heartwood
- KS – small live knots and sapwood
- KD – small dead bark encased knots, may be heartwood or sapwood
- KSDL – large branches either live or dead, may be heartwood or sapwood
25 to 50mm thick timber is generally provided at a nominal 16% moisture content.

We can provide:
- Machined timber to your preferred profile,
- Oiled timber particularly for exposed grades e.g. weather board
- We carry a wide range of timber grades and sizes
- Other special high quality species including Black Walnut, Blackwood, Spanish chestnut
- We are remotely located (28km from Rotorua). This does mean we are not able to provide very small orders. That said you may visit and view the products we provide. We can also deliver quantities of timber in excess of 1m3 at a minimal delivery charge.

We are providing you with a natural timber product. Be aware that all forest species have individuals that express variations in properties: size, form, colour, heartwood development and so on. We have gone to substantial effort to provide you Timber products that are within specified grade.
